Welcome to the creepypastas section of my page

I created this part of the website to give some attention to some obscure creepypastas, usually those unknown outside the spanish-speaking part of the creepypasta community.

Note that these adaptations shouldn't be taken as direct translations of the original stories, as many of them have been cut down or modified for brevity or ease of reading, and to hopefully fix or ammend some issues present in the original stories

If you want, you can download the following creepypasta here

Without further ado, I present to you:

The King Descends (Originally, El Rey Baja)

Adaptation by Rex Rhólon

Original author unknown

The internet is full of unusual and strange websites, we've all heard the tales; from blindmaiden to youtube user 666, these stories vary in veracity, from blatantly obvious campfire stories made to scare kids and teens, to real websites with illegal and/or gore content. However, a few tread the line between truth and myth in a way that's nearly impossible to explain, defying the laws of the very world we live in to deliver strange and unusual experiences.

Not too long ago, I found one of these websites.

The year was 2009, and I'd grown bored of youtube, twitter, and tumblr, which were all in a much better state back in the day, so I resorted to googling random phrases and keywords to see what I could find, I was scraping the bottom of the barrel for entertainment and was very close to just giving up and going to bed.

Eventually, I typed "King".

After browsing through a few pages, which were mostly fansites dedicated to historical figures like Edward Longshanks, Charlemagne, Henry VIII, Phillip of Spain and many, many others, I stumbled upon a messageboard, the link to which I will not provide. To say the site seemed strange would be an understatement, specially considering that the first thing I stumbled upon was a post with a single, nearly incomprehensible message:

"Hiel, I saw them, this night.

The property gives, and we stand tall.

99924028, The King Descends."

To say I was freaked out would too be an understatement, though I tried to look past it and find a rational explanation: surely it was just a small community making inside jokes or referencing past events, or maybe it was just spam, maybe the numbers were just there to fill up the empty space. However, as I continued browsing other messages it quickly became obvious that this was no spam, as I saw dozens of other, completely unique and different users all use the same kind of structure to finish their messages:

"H9280005, The King Descends."

"98700000, The King Descends."

"JKM0LOP1, The King Descends, 20999731."

"The King Descends, MMK01849"

"The King Descends"

After seeing this pattern, I figured that maybe it was some sort of code, or a signature for members to identify themselves, that was probably it, just a silly code for a small community to amuse themselves with, and to confuse outsiders.

Not thinking too much of it, I eventually decided to write a post on the introduction section:

"Hey guys, just found this page, what's going on here? This all looks a bit creepy, maybe we can change that, send the funniest pics you have"

Surprisingly, mere seconds after posting, I got a message, from one of the moderators no less:

"Good to see. You get help. Help."

Just a few minutes after that, the thread descended into pure insanity, with over 20 messages in a few minutes, all commanding me to "ignore the grafts", and "do not, private, do not", all followed by the standard "The King Descends" line, though some now featured cyrillics and strange asian characters in place of numbers.

As soon as I clicked the button to go to the next page to see more replies, the power went out, making me jump out of my skin for a second. I quickly gathered my wits and went to see what the problem was: fuses, all blown out, the cons of living in an older house. Changing them was no problem, as I was sadly accustomed to this kind of problem, but when I got back to my room I noticed the computer had turned itself back on. On the monitor , rather than the usual windows 7 bootup screen, I was met with a black and white image of a small boy, smiling wide. Upon clicking on the image, it played like a video, and though the boy's lips were moving, no sound came out. I put my ear to the speakers, and nothing, I turned my speakers to max volume and still nothing, but just when I was about to turn the volume down, the child screamed, damn near rupturing my ear drums with a deafening cry. The video now showed the boy bleeding from his mouth as pale, nearly skeletal white hands grabbed and stretched his face.

The lights went out again. Again, I had to change the fuses, though this time to call the cops, or whoever might be able to help me, however before I could even leave the room, the computer turned itself back on, and I, a victim of curiosity, couldn't help but sit back down. I'd recieved hundreds of cryptic emails, my yahoo mailbox was getting hundreds of mails per second, all of them with extremely strange names and topics, and the few I managed to read had the exact same signature at the end:

"HK90LMN1, The King Descends, MNY22222"

Eventually I found one I could actually understand:

"Pass it. Just pass it"

The moment I read that mail, I felt a drop on my shoulder, like a raindrop, and looking up, scribbled on the ceiling with a strange black gunk, there was a message, which was, by this point, burned into the back of my mind.:

"The King Descends"

My vision failed me, and I could feel my heartbeats slowing down. Before too long, I fainted.

In that moment of unconsciousness, I saw a message:

"Pass to the next, pass to The King."

I understand now what I have to do, I must pass to the next, pass them to The King, whatever it might be.

I'm sorry.
